Villa Maria is the revival of the genuine, the tradition and the memories from a time that has already passed but we want to relive. San Bernardino is the stage where the architecture that gave birth to this town still exists and coexists with the leafy vegetation within the hills and beautiful Lake Ypacarai. We seek to create a consciousness and awareness of the care and value of our cultural and natural patrimony in Paraguay.
Maria is the Paraguayan woman, who transmits and passes down these traditions that were once passed down to her by her own mother, grandmother and aunts. These women responsible for creating a culture new and rich mixing traditions from the old continent passed down from their ancestors with the more autochthonous traditions which make up the Guarani culture.
We are a Villa where each house represents one of Maria's families, each with their own spirit and personality.
In Villa Maria we have two houses; Del Val and La Lilia. Casa Del Val, inspired by the country life of the early 20th century, has four rooms, a swimming pool and two restaurants; La Barra and Bistró Del Val. Casa La Lilia, set in a tropical colonial climate, has four rooms and a cafeteria (it does not have a pool but guests have access to the pool at Casa Del Val). The houses are approximately 100 meters away.
